The GT250R joined South Korea’s Hyosung line in 2007 and returns again as an entry-level sportbikes. It includes a 249cc 27-horsepower air-cooled V-twin engine with a 5-speed transmission. You’ll also find trick componentry like an inverted fork for a price well under four grand. It’s available in four color schemes (two are two-tone).

The GT650 is the naked version of the half-faired GT650S with an upright and roomy riding position. A single-shock rear suspension and inverted fork keep this one smooth and stable, while dual discs help slow everything down. It’s available with a black frame and black or blue paint.

The GT650S features a liquid-cooled, eight-valve 647cc V-twin with a claimed 79 horsepower and six-speed transmission. It offers an upright and roomy riding position, single-shock rear suspension, inverted fork and a half fairing for greater wind protection.

Think of Hyosung’s GT650R as Korea’s answer to Suzuki’s popular and functionally excellent SV650SF twin. A liquid-cooled, four-valve 647cc V-twin forms the core of the GT650R, while the trick-bits list includes adjustable rearsets and a digital speedometer. Four color combinations are available.
